Well, I'm back at college. Hawai'i was neat; great to experience some tropical weather and warm ocean water at any rate. I bought a dictionary of Hawaiian because I love the language.

College is as time-consuming as ever. This semester it's a lot of reading, and relatively few big assignments. Thus, I can't spend as much time at the computer as I used to. Still, I surf the internet whenever I can. I'm taking some fun linguistics classes and an existentialism course that kicks every bit as much ass as I hoped it would.

I haven't been drawing much lately. That may or may not change, given my courseload, but I simply haven't been too inspired lately... I haven't even been sketching much on my notes during classes! That's very unlike me. However, Amna's been the main subject of the drawing I have been doing of late. I've almost got her face and hair worked out (I promise!). As some of you know, Amna is very difficult for me to draw, so this is a big triumph for me.

On the EDM front, Hybridized has been putting up some pretty good sets lately. I'm starting to accumulate a lot of them on my hard drive. It seems like the scene is oscillating between electroshite and good music, like it can't let the former go or something. Drop it already, I say. I discovered Amon Tobin, one of those kickass maverick producers who refuses to be put in a box, a little while ago. Good stuff.

In my spare time, I'm reading up on Buddhism and Shinto and discussing theology in Tolkien's invented universe on internet forums. Let it never be said I'm a normal, ungeeky person.
